eg. Scenario:- "I had a very big problem of application went on to hung stage, I tried killing SPIDs, restarting App Server & SQL Agent Services, cycle error log etc. anyhow giving restart of SQL service was not approved".
Alternate Solution:- We can try re-enabling network adapter of DB server to see if we get any benefit out of it?
